Tricia Leadbeater

Tricia Leadbeater, CFA, MA

Senior Investment Advisor, Portfolio Manager

Tricia Leadbeater has over 25 years of experience partnering with clients to achieve their life and investment goals. Her diverse education and experience bring a unique and valuable perspective to her relationships, many of which are multi-decade and multi-generational. She especially enjoys coaching clients who, as a result of life transitions, are new to managing wealth. She also excels at educating and motivating young professionals in their early careers.

Prior to obtaining the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, Tricia completed a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Dalhousie University, and earned undergraduate degrees With Distinction in English and Philosophy from the University of Calgary. To improve her volunteer and leadership skills, she completed the Institute for Corporate Directors (ICD) Not-for-Profit Director’s Program.

Tricia is committed to serving her local community.  Currently, she serves as Chair of the Theatre Calgary Endowment Foundation.  She was also a Director of Theatre Calgary for nine years. She is a Director on the board of the Calgary Health Foundation, and the Werklund Family Foundation, which promotes leadership and education opportunities for youth in Alberta. Previously, Tricia served on the boards of the Calgary Allied Arts Foundation, Calgary Cinematheque and Calgary CFA Society. She is also a past Investment Committee member for the Calgary CFA Society.

Tricia spends most weekends in the mountains, either cross-country skiing or hiking. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family attending performing arts events in the city.

 

Kendall McKenzie

Associate

Kendall is a Licensed Investment Representative and enjoys providing friendly and knowledgeable service to our clients on their account administration and assists in trading operations.

Kendall joined Richardson Wealth in 2022, after a 7-year career with the University of Calgary, at the Haskayne School of Business. There, she was the Alumni Engagement Special Projects Officer. In this role, Kendall was responsible for developing alumni engagement programs, marketing, event planning, and maintaining the alumni database. Kendall has a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge, with a double major in Marketing and Finance.

A born and raised Calgarian, Kendall enjoys spending summer weekends camping, and the winter months, staying inside with a pile of books.

Bridget Woolley

Bridget Woolley, B. Mgt.

Associate

Bridget provides friendly, knowledgeable support to clients in trading, investment research, account administration, and financial planning. Known for her thoughtful, detail-oriented approach, she helps clients feel comfortable and well supported in every interaction with our team.

Bridget joined the team after spending three years with a major Canadian bank as a Banking Advisor, where she supported individuals and families with lending and mortgage applications, financial planning, and investment decisions across a range of account types. She began her career at a junior oil and gas company, gaining experience in accounting, operational and administration support, while completing her university studies.

Bridget holds a Bachelor of Management in Finance from the University of Lethbridge, graduating with Great Distinction, and earning a place on the Dean’s Honour List in 2019 and 2020. She also holds a diploma in Administrative Information Management from SAIT. Bridget is a CFA Program candidate and has successfully completed Level I of the three-level program. In addition, she has completed both the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook through the Canadian Securities Institute.

Outside of work, Bridget enjoys painting, fly fishing, and spending time with her cat, Felix.

Chief Market Strategist, Purpose Investments

Craig Basinger is the Chief Market Strategist at Purpose Investments. With over 25 years of investment experience, Craig combines an educational foundation in economics & psychology with years of experience in both fundamental and quantitative research. A long term student of the markets, Craig’s thoughts and insights can be seen in Market Ethos publications and is a regular contributor on BNN. 

Craig and his team bring a transparent and cost efficient approach to investment management. The team provides asset allocation OCIO services and directly manages over $1 billion in assets. The team manages dividend mandates, quantitative risk reduction strategies and asset allocation services.


An Nguyen

An Nguyen, CFA®

VP, Investment Services

An graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce, and is a CFA charter holder.  An has been in the investment industry for over twenty years and has worked for Canadian and Global financial institutions along the way.  As Vice-President, Investments Services and Proposals, An is responsible for the firm’s product research platform for public funds and manages the investment proposals and RFP process.

An started her career on the investment custody side where she specialized in portfolio transition management dealing with Canada’s largest pension plans and investment managers.  Prior to joining Richardson Wealth, An was Vice President, Products & Services at Macquarie Private Wealth, and was responsible for the firm’s fee-based programs including the advisor managed discretionary, third party managed discretionary, and non-discretionary platforms. Prior to joining Macquarie, An was an analyst for the consulting group at CIBC Asset Management where she was part of the manager research team that was responsible for the sub-advisory relationships for over $110 billion in assets under management.  On the manager research team, she covered Canadian equity, fixed income and Global fixed income investment managers.

With a 360-degree backdrop of the investment management business, including custody, transition management, and portfolio management, An brings best practice ideas and solutions to the investment team.  As a result of her dealings with both the end client and the investment manager, An has a balanced, and disciplined perspective to investment management with a focus on portfolio implementation, on-going monitoring, and risk-management.

Harj Takhar

Harj Takhar, MFA-P

Estate And Insurance Advisor

Harj specializes in helping high-net-worth and ultra-high- net-worth families protect and transition their wealth through sophisticated insurance and estate planning strategies.

He embraces the nuances and complexities surrounding intricate organizational structures and leverages his deep expertise in wealth preservation to design tailored insurance solutions. His advisory approach focuses on minimizing tax, optimizing cash flows and integrating business and succession planning. Additionally, Harj helps implement appropriate trust, philanthropic, and estate planning strategies to fulfill family legacy objectives. He strives to provide clients with a sense of financial well-being and confidence in their family’s wealth stewardship.

Prior to joining Richardson Wealth in 2024, Harj spent nearly a decade advising affluent families and business owners on financial, tax, estate, succession, emigration, and cross-border planning in both the public accounting industry and financial services sectors. 

Harj shares our team’s belief in lifelong learning and holds multiple designations – Chartered Professional Account (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) – and is currently pursuing his US Certified Public Accountant designation with an anticipated completion date of 2026.

Harj lives with his wife and their two children. When time permits, he can be found playing basketball, enjoying live theatre, or trying the newest restaurant in the city.

Based in the Edmonton office, Craig collaborates with our Tax & Estate team to assist Investment Advisors in Edmonton, Calgary, and Saskatoon. He provides clients with clear, actionable, and effective financial plans to navigate complex financial situations. Craig is dedicated to helping advisors understand their clients better and providing quality solutions to deepen relationships.

Craig has held progressive roles in banking, portfolio management and financial planning across multiple financial organizations. He leverages his 15 years of experience in financial planning and wealth management to create holistic financial plans, simplifying complex concepts with clear, actionable steps to ensure clients achieve their goals efficiently. Working closely with investment advisors, tax experts, and legal professionals, Craig supports high net-worth clients in reaching their wealth goals.

He holds multiple designations, including the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) as well as being a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FSCI®).
